Parelia had only been in the area for a month, but she had heard enough. She knew that her girl would have wanted her to move on. As she stood outside of the looming stone building before her she sighed trying to shake her nerves. Today was going to be a big day for her and she was beyond worried. She was going to be meting the Queen’s wolf and hopefully, if all went well, the queen herself. ‘I hope this wolf likes me, and I hope that the Queen can find a person for me.’ She thought anxiously her bright pink eyes darting around. Suddenly her eyes stopped moving and she froze transfixed, she smiled brightly as she took in the lovely fountain before her. Stepping forward unable to help herself she lifted onto her back legs and placed them lightly on the edge of the water. Parelia smiled as her eyes roved over the exquisite statute in the water. “What a lovely piece of artwork.” Her voice was an awed whisper.
