Allllrighty. Sooo, I have a lot of fun with Photoshop CS5, but I am not an expert. I can:
~+ Manipulate existing photos in certain ways. ~+ Make posting templates/tables. ~+ Create some damn good spacescapes. ~+ Combine existing images. ~+ Cut a subject out of one picture and drop them on a different background, etc. ~+ Work on something for hours on end until it looks freaking perfect. Things I use A LOT in Photoshop (and therefore am very well aquainted with):
~+Layer style ~+ Blending options ~+ Layer modes ~+ Pen tool ~+ Stock images ~+ Brushes ~+ Pattern overlay ~+ Many other things Things I can't do very well (at least not yet, but I will certainly try):
~+ Color wolves' fur (I can do wonders with eyes), depending on the wolf. Light-colored/grey wolves, maybe. Can't do black ones well at all. ~+ Adding water to a pic that doesn't already have it. ~+ Draw. Anything. At all. Just flat don't ask.
Now, the main reason I decided to set up shop is because, as the v5 guru, I felt like people should have a place to come and get their posting templates/tables converted for v5! V5 uses a completely different table code, and posting templates that work now DO NOT work in v5. At all. If you bring your table code to me, though, I'll rewrite so that It will look exactly the same in v5 as it does in v4! All you have to do is to create a new thread on this board with a sample of the table and the code in [_code] [/_code] tags (without the underscores, of course), and I'll reply with the rewritten v5 code.
If you decide that you want me to make you a table, fear not! You will get both a v4 and a v5 code, so the switch-over to v5 should be relatively smooth for you!
Each v5 conversion comes pre-tested by me to make sure it looks right. When I give you the new code, it will include a link to my test post so you can evaluate it and let me know if it needs changes. If you like, you can test your new code on any v5 forum that has somewhere to test such things. If you don't know of one, you can always post in the advertisements section of my site, SAOR. This is where I myself test new conversions, and I will eventually delete your test post, but it's no big deal. Just name the thread "test" and do whatever you like. :3
Please note that v5 code works in v4 even worse than v4 code works in v5. Do not use the new code as your posting template until the conversion to v5. If you do, the result will not be pretty at all!
Some things to know about v5:
~+ V5 murdered the blockquote tag. It doesn't exist. If you tend to use them heavily, you may find it useful to know how to achieve the same effect: use text here . You will likely need to play with the width to get exactly the right effect. ~+ You do need to add "px" at the end of your widths. Without it, the code ignores the attribute. ~+ The alignment tags no longer work the same way. Instead of an older center tag, use , etc.
