Zen : Dak is often found somewhere quiet, meditating to keep his anger in check. He tries to keep this feeling of zen about him around all the time. He also does tai chi, really wishing to keep a calm and steady head on his shoulders. If others are willing, he is more than willing to teach others.
Thinker : Fisher is a large thinker, he likes to process things before he acts. He doesn't just jump into situations until he fully understands it. In conversations, he often pauses before answering to think about what they have said and weigh in his own answer. So if there is a long gap in conversation, don't worry. He isn't ignoring you,
Anger Issues : Even though he has dealt with it. Dakota still has issues with his anger. If you continue to push his buttons he will snap. He only every strikes out with his words, never his fists unless the situation calls for it. If someone or something is bothering him he will pause, close his eyes an try to reign in his feelings by deep breathing. But if the situation still angers him, he will snap.
Protective : Since the death of Sheila, Dak has become very protective of those that are close to him. He will go above and beyond to protect those that he loves, even if it means harming himself or putting himself in danger. He can be a bit overbearing sometimes though, some people think that it is a bit strangling.
Bold Speaker : While speaking to others, he does not lie. He will speak what is on his mind. He is a very honest person, which can sometimes get him in trouble. He is not one for BSing things, which makes him a great person to come and speak to when you are in a bound.
Mother: Faith Rose Fisher (Deceased)
Father: Rodger Scott Fisher (Alive)
Siblings: N/A
Other Significant People: Sheila Siobhan Alexander (Fiancee, Deceased) Roper Fisher (Grandfather, Guard for the Queen, Deceased)
History:Before Dakota was even born, Rodger was brought up in the castle with his father who was one of the personal guards for the Queen. He was one of the first guards brought in after the others were exiled, and was already 60 at that time. He became a very respected guard though, so when he passed away from old age there was a grand ceremony thrown for him. Rodger however, moved away from the castle after his fathers death, blaming his death on the stress of his job. He was 75 when he passed, not old enough to die of old age. So Rodger wanted nothing do to with the castle, instead moving into the town just below. That is where he met his wife where they married a short year after meeting.
Fisher was born as an only child to Faith and Rodger. He was a miracle child, his mother was told by doctors that she would never be able to bare children. So he was very much spoiled when he was born. When he was 7 years old his mother fell very ill, cancer had made its way from a small tumor behind her ear into her brain. They could do nothing to save her, and she passed away shortly afterwards. Life was not as easy for Dak after that.
Rodger didn't know how to raise his son on his own, and was very angry at the loss of his wife. He had some anger issues that Faith had been able to curb, but without her there to calm him down they blew out. Although Rodger would never hit his son, he did verbally abuse him. Blaming him for the death of his mother, just like he had blamed his fathers job for his death. Dakota never fought back until he was 11, when he began to develop his own anger issues. He would yell back at his father, and at times they would be in a screaming match for hours. So when Fisher turned 16 it was not hard for him to leave home. He thought about returning to the castle to live like his grandfather, but because of his anger issues he was denied the position. So that is when Dakota began to work on zenning himself through meditation. When he was taking a walk down the pathways of the city, trying to find a calm area to relax, he literally ran right into Sheila. After picking himself and her off the ground, they instantly became friends. Her parents were both guards in the castle and she lived by herself with a few other friends. Soon after, Dakota moved in with the group of 16 year olds.
As the years went on, Dakota and Sheila began to be more than just friends. When he was 20 and she 21, they planned to marry. They were as happy as they ever could be, and decided to get a house together. Sheila was an outdoors girl, she loved to go on hikes and rock climbing. A few weeks after they got engaged she went off to hike a dangerous mountain, leaving Dakota behind in bed in the early morning. When Dak woke up, he knew that something wasn't right. He found her note on the pillow beside him, explaining where she had gone and to not worry about her. Panic set in, and he immediately set off to go and find her. But when he reached the mountain, it was already too late. He followed her path, easy to find by the wacked down bush path. He found her not far from there, her breathing already shallow. She had not fallen, it wasn't the mountain that had killed her, it was the creatures that had gotten to her. A snake had bitten her on the leg, and the poison had already reached her heart. Dakota ran to her and held her as she drew her last breaths, asking him to fill out their dreams. Then, she left him.
Fisher was much like her father, becoming angry at the world once more. He gave up his devotion to find his zen, but Sheila's last words kept running through his mind. They had planned to build a ranch with horses, proven to cure anger issues and other problems. But without his job as a guard, he could never afford it. So he abandoned his anger for the last time, once again returning to zen. He still mourns his best friend and fiancee, He has a hard time thinking of falling in love again.
He now has a better understanding of his anger, and does not anger as easily. He still wants to go back to the castle and try his luck again about becoming a guard.
