Unofficial rogue territory, but did Rikki care? Not really. She’d been in these woods many times, never known, never caught, stealthy as a cat. Her makeup as thick and dark as her hair, paired with a camel cigarette hanging lazily in her lips. Rikki looked no more then your typical outcaste rebel. Little did people know she had a secret, a deadly secret. That little joke always brought a giggle to her lips. She was a little mad you could say. Only a little. Wouldn’t you have to be a little crazed to tread such fragile waters? Seeing as how the rogues tended to be very protective over these parts, a midnight rider making their hideout here would not go over well with those over protective fools. Just to be on the safe side, Rikki carried with her a knife, the blade long and curved just ever so slightly to give I a wicked look. Now Rikki couldn’t truthfully say that is was only for her protection, she loved knives, craved the feel of it in her hands, and when she used it. She’d gathered quite the collection over the years. Along with an assortment of holders she could place on her thigh high boots. Her hand inched along her leg, crawling down until it had slipped the knife from it’s placement. Rikki’s reflection glinted in the blade, sharp, deadly, perfect. It was as if you could see the stars in her bright blue eyes, The shot of adrenaline that always went through her, the way her mind raced, when she was near such a pointy, object. She lived off it. Running the blade lightly across her pointer finger, adding a tiny bit of pressure at the end and staring in fascination at the small prickle of blood that formed. Blooming like an elegant rose, before she stuck it in her mouth, wiping away any traces of blood with her saliva and continued on her leisurely stroll. The knife twirling loosely around her fingers as she hummed an upbeat little tune, adding a bounce to her step. These forests were just so dark and ominous! It had a certain little charm to it, like she’d find a dusty path that lead to an old abandoned castle, but as far as she knew the only castle was the one of the Twilight Gems, and that place was far too. . .innocent for her taste. Unlike these woods, that were so silent it seemed a little. . . Off. Then again, everything was off when it came to Rikki. There, a twig snap! If she were anyone else this wouldn’t be a good thing, but being herself, naturally it only caused an abnormal excitement to course through herself. Gripping her knife, she stabbed it in a tree trunk to hoist herself up, along with the help of her heels she scampered up the tree, perching her small stature on a high branch. Blending herself into the dark background of the tree, she waited, watched, for whatever, or more preferably whomever would walk beneath her. |
